We publish carefully edited, beautifully produced books by writers and scholars from around the world, and have a growing reputation for excellence. Our approach is based around three key principles of editorial rigor, beautifully crafted books, and independence. We publish books we believe deserve readers, not because they match a commercial formula, and work closely with authors to make them as strong as possible. Our attention to detail goes beyond the editing and into typography, images, design, production, and the physical books themselves to enhance the reading experience. These are qualities not necessarily found at a larger press, but because we are small, we can be selective in maintaining our independent spirit.

We aim to respond to submissions within six months. Please be patient with us if we run behind.
Submission requirements:
- Manuscript file with numbered pages.
- Separate one-page synopsis.
- A brief biography of the author.
Accepted file formats: .docx, .odt, .rtf, .txt, .pdf.
Novella must be 90-100 pages or equivalent in word count.
Simultaneous submission is encouraged. Please do not submit multiple manuscripts to us until you have heard a decision on the first, and please do not resubmit a title we have previously declined.
